Over the last couple of decades Danish Maritime industry has been able to achieve a very prominent and strong position as a key supplier to the Chinese shipbuilding industry.
As a natural consequence of this development, many industries have set up own local production facilities or entered into a joint venture with a local partner. Others have started cooperating with local distributors or agents or even started up joint sales companies or offices.
Valuable experience and expertise, working on the Chinese maritime market, accumulated over the years, are now the foundation of a local Chinese network set up recently with the purpose of increasing market shares and creating further prosperity to the benefit of the Danish Maritime industry.
The network serves as a local forum where “China experienced individuals” can meet and discuss common challenges and set up new initiatives on the market. At the same time the network serves as a know-how centre and as a catalyst for less experienced companies and individuals on their way into the Chinese market.
